Customer Type List

The Customer Type List page allows authorized users to view a list of all existing customer types, add or edit customer types, or delete existing customer types. Customer Types provide the ability to define and categorize various billing customers for purposes of running reports, performing searches/inquiries, and creating customer statements.

To access the Customer Type List page, go to Maintenance > Financial Management > Miscellaneous Billing > Customer Types.

The default sort order of the list is by Code (in alphabetical order). Clicking a hyperlink in the Code column in the list opens the Customer Type page, where you can edit the customer type information.

If needed, click Refresh to repopulate and update the list to include any changes other authorized users may have made.

Add or Edit a Customer Type

To add a new customer type click New. To edit an existing customer type, click the Code hyperlink to open the existing record.

Delete a Customer Type

To delete a customer type, select it in the list and click Delete.

The Delete button is hidden or disabled if you do not have the appropriate security permissions. If you are authorized, when you click Delete you are prompted to confirm the deletion.

Print the Customer Type Listing

To print a list of all customer types, click Print. Click OK to submit the Customer Type Listing to myReports. This Print button is hidden if you do not have the appropriate security permissions.
